Martin Raftery joined the firm in April 2002. Since joining, Martin has gained a wealth of experience in dealing with a broad spectrum of complex costs disputes including high value commercial work and professional and medical negligence cases. Martin works closely with some of the top Irish legal firms and a number of U.K. based insurers. Martin has also advised extensively in relation to tendering and legal procurement matters and represents the State in opposing all of the legal costs presented from applications heard and determined by the Hepatitis Compensation Tribunal. Costs budgeting and Security for Costs applications are also areas in which Martin has a keen interest. Martin obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from UCD in 2000. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Costs Accountants and is an Accredited Mediator.
